In an interview with Fox News, Trump has hinted at an agreement on many terms between Russia and the US, and emphasised that since Ukraine is not like Russia, which is a powerful country.
He has also said that Ukraine will be given a guarantee, as the Ukrainian President has time and again focused on the importance of Donetsk and its “fortress cities” in providing security to the country from further Russian attacks. Sources revealed that Putin has also agreed on a security deal for Ukraine as he saw the meeting in Alaska as a big victory for himself and the country, which has been targeted ever since the beginning of the conflict, and was close to facing sanctions by the US a week before the talks.
