After separating from her family and the RJD, Rohini Acharya, the daughter of Lalu Prasad Yadav, has alleged violence and several other allegations against her brothers and the current party leader, Tejashwi Yadav.
A day after she announced her split, Rohini claimed that she was abused, and matters became so grave that her brother raised a slipper to hit her. She informed about her torture through her X handle, where she penned an emotional note explaining the humiliation received by her brothers as she was forced to leave her parents.
In another post, she talked about the kidney donation she made to her father in 2022, claiming that she was also made fun of. She claims that she has been targeted and mocked for giving a dirty kidney to her father, and in return, took the party ticket and loads of money. Taunting her brothers in a social media banter, she also said that if there are brothers and sons in a family, they should donate a kidney for their parents or ask their friends to arrange it.
Rohini went on to call out her brothers and wrote that a woman should take care of her family and children, and not commit the mistake that she made. She further said that she did not take permission from her husband and donated the kidney, which is now being branded as “filthy”. Before this drama unfolded, Rohini even commented about having no family and told the party members to ask about family from Tejashwi Yadav, Sanjay Yadav and Rameez.
She had earlier accused the three of throwing her out of the house, which started the entire family feud, which is now one of the most discussed matters on the internet. Rohini is the second of the nine kids of RJD leader Lalu Prasad. In a recent interaction, she also confirmed that she had only cut ties with her brothers and not the rest of her family.
