Security forces on Saturday foiled infiltrators during a joint operation in Jammu’s Kapurwa. The White Chinar Corps announced Operation Pimple in a social media post on 7 November after specific inputs. The operation has led to the neutralisation of infiltrators who were trying to enter the Indian territory from the valley illegally.
The forces announced that the terrorists were trapped right after establishing contact. Army personnel also confirmed that two terrorists had been neutralised during the operations by the army. While searches for others are still ongoing. Before this operation, an encounter between the security forces and militants had broken out on November 5 in Chhatru, located in the Kishtwar province.
The quick response by the Chinar Corps is commendable, as the terrorists were captured as soon as the connection was established.
The officials confirmed that the operation in Chhatru was also launched after specific intelligence details. The coordinated search began early morning, and after a few hours, security personnel were under fire, leading to an exchange of arms.
In a post shared on X, the White Corps confirmed that contact with terrorists was established in a joint operation with the Jammu and Kashmir Police. The army is active in the area as it is mired by infiltrators. The latest operation is one of the many to protect the locals and the country from militants, using illegal channels.
