A Healthy Diet
Needless to say, a healthy diet prevents most of the ailments including diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, and heart attacks. A healthy diet contains vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds, and fruits for a balanced nutrient profile.
Less Salt and Sugar Intake
Salt and sugar are the two most used ingredients and also the most harmful to health. The WHO recommends a salt intake of 5 gms per day which can be met by cutting food and snacks shaving added salt. SImialrly sugar may lead to increased risk of diabetes, tooth decay, and weight gain therefore it is required to reduce sugar as much as possible and avoid added sugar in food.
Reduce the Amount of Fat
Fats make up an important part of the diet, but take about 30 per cent of the energy. WHO recommended reducing trans fats and saturated fats, while unsaturated fat is considered healthy. Saturated fats should be reduced to 10 per cent of the food intake, trans-fats to 1 per cent and finally replacing them with saturated fats.
Stay Active
A few minutes of workout daily can prevent you from various diseases and give you many years of extra life. Staying active can include walking, running, swimming, cardio, or dancing. There are many options to choose from but the most important thing is to do at least something to keep you active and let toxins from the body be released.
Quit Smoking
There has been plenty of research to prove that smoking is injurious to health, causing cancer and liver damage. Tobacco is so harmful that it not only kills smokers but also non-smokers who are forced to breathe in the same air.
Only Taking Prescribed Antibiotics
The major concern facing humanity today is the risk of antibiotic resistance, when too many antibiotics are taken by the body the cells lose the immunity to fight the bacteria as they become resistant to antibiotics. Hence the global health body prescribes the use of antibiotics.

Sleep disturbance can cause a complete disaster in the natural rhythms of the body, hence doctors and professionals prescribe a proper 7 to 8 hours of sleep. It works as a medicine and keeps the body and mind calm.
