Priyanka Gandhi and Robert Vadra’s son, Raihan Vadra, is set to marry Aviva Baig, a Delhi-based photographer. The couple has been reported to have been together for the last seven years, and they are said to have formalised their relationship in an engagement ceremony in Rajasthan.
Reports suggest that the duo will be engaged in January; however, there is no official confirmation yet. Aviva, who lives in Delhi, has shared the engagement News on her Instagram handle and also added it to her highlights. Close sources reveal that Raihan proposed to Aviva after taking permission from her family.
Ever since the engagement of the couple was announced, the internet has been curious to know about Aviva Baig and her background. Aviva is the daughter of Delhi-based businessman Imran Baig, and her mother, Nandita Baig, is an interior designer. Nandita is said to be a close friend of Priyanka Gandhi and has also helped Priyanka with the interior design of the Congress headquarters, Indira Bhawan.
The two families have reportedly been close for a long time, and Aviva and Raihan have known each other for several years. Aviva has completed her schooling from the most prestigious school in Delhi, the Modern School, located on Barakhamba Road. She has a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and Journalism from OP Jindal Global University. She is also a former national-level football player.
Currently she is working as a photographer, and has co-founded Atelier 11, a photography and studio company working with outstation clients. Her exhibitions include ‘You cannot miss this’ with the Method gallery, and other than photography, she has also done several projects in mass communication. She has also worked as a junior project manager at the PROPAGANDA. Some of her other experiences include market stints at Art Chain India.
Raihan and Aviva are also said to share a creative bond, as Raihan is also a photography enthusiast.
