Priyanka Chopra opened up about having six back to back flops in Hollywood and how she struggled to keep up in the industry. She was speaking at an interview at the Bridge summit in Abu Dhabi. Priyanka has spent over two decades in the industry, and she highlighted how she had to undergo a phase of lows before cracking her role in Hollywood.
She candidly spoke about her career and the changes she went through in her professional life, highlighting that there were times when she did six movies in a year, and all six movies failed, and the movies she wanted to work in were constantly given to others. She also said that when she started working, she had no choice but to say no.
Reflecting back on her career, he highlighted that since there were strict deadlines, she missed important family events, at the cost of their work. Talking about how far she has reached, she said that now she has a choice, and she knows what is right for her work and personal life at any given time.
Talking about her career in Hollywood, she stated that the industry has its own stereotypes. The actor talked about her struggles to break the American culture, and garner real work after years, based on her role as a character and not by definition of her ethnicity.
