Blinkit, has taken steps to save lives with the launch of 10 Minute Ambulance Service in Gurugram. The initiative reflects the company’s commitment to social welfare and addressing critical gaps in urban healthcare infrastructure.
Blinkit’s Founder and CEO, Albinder Dhindsa, announced the launch, calling it a significant move to address the lack of timely ambulance services in cities. Dhindsa wrote on X (formerly Twitter).-
Fully Equipped Ambulances
Ambulances are designed to handle emergencies with essential life-saving equipment such as oxygen tanks and defibrillators. Monitors, masks, suction machines and emergency medicine. Each vehicle is staffed with medical staff, assistants and trained motorists on board. This ensures that patients receive immediate care on the way to the hospital.
Plans for Expansion
Blinkit plans to expand its services to other cities in India in the next two years. This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to social welfare and address critical gaps in urban health infrastructure.
Dinsa also reminded citizens of the importance of clearing the way for ambulances in emergencies. “Quick and unobstructed access can save lives,” he emphasized.
